Caring for Kids - These are challenging times for many people, particularly for some parents. With young kids to support, they might face special financial and emotional pressures. A conference tomorrow in Sacramento County aims to help. It's called "Caring for Children in Stressful Times," and it has speakers on such topics as fighting fatigue, weathering the financial storm and managing stress. Today on Insight, we'll talk with some of the speakers.

Loma Prieta - When the Loma Prieta earthquake was done, 63 people were dead, several thousand injured and thousands more unable to live in their homes. We're going to recall the earthquake with two people who lived at the time within a few miles of the epicenter in the Santa Cruz Mountains. They're both regular voices on Capital Public Radio News - Capitol Reporter Steve Shadley and Arts Critic Jeff Hudson.

"Speech & Debate" - A very current play is currently running in Sacramento. "Speech & Debate" is about young people involved in a scandal at their school, and their use of social media is an important part of the story. The play is produced by Capital Stage. You'll meet two of the actors and hear a scene.
